Give two people each a piece of a 1000-piece puzzle and ask them to tell you what the completed picture will be. You’ll get two very different answers, most likely! You see, it’s all about perspective. Without having the overall picture in view, it’s hard to make sense of each piece individually. In Isaiah 55:8-9, God reminds us that He looks at things from a different perspective than we do. He sees the whole picture, and His thoughts and ways are higher than our human minds can  comprehend.

  1. God sees the whole picture of our lives while we see only small pieces at a time. How does this knowledge give you a different perspective about everyday difficulties?
  2. How can we learn to take God’s perspective into account before acting, reacting, or making decisions?
