Confused?

Have you ever tried to figure out a problem but it seems the more you think about it the more confused you get? There are some things in life that are just complicated and sometimes it takes someone explaining it for it to really makes sense. Well, that’s kind of what happened to Daniel. God showed him a vision and he was pretty stumped trying to figure out what it all meant. The vision had a whole progression of events involving sheep and goats and all sorts of things. You can read the vision in Daniel 8:1-14.

This was the Daniel that had told a king the interpretation of writing on the wall and told another king what his dream meant without the king even telling him the dream. But this time Daniel was trying to figure out what was going on. Thankfully, God did not leave him in the dark, He sent an the angel Gabriel just to explain what was going to happen to Daniel. Read what Gabriel said in Daniel 8:15-26.

Even though Daniel still didn’t completely understand the vision and it bothered him, God thought it was important enough to send Gabriel with an explanation. I have no doubts that God will do the same for us today. When our lives don’t seem to be going as we planned or things don’t seem to be working out quite right, sometimes we ask God to explain things and although like Daniel we still may not understand completely God will take the time to explain that He loves us and knows what’s best if we take the time to listen. Next time you’re confused why not take it to God.

But if any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. God is generous. He enjoys giving to all people, so God will give you wisdom.
